The fire that broke out in the electrical transformer in KARAMAN caused a short-term panic. The fire was extinguished by the fire brigade in about half an hour and the transformer became unusable and no one was injured.

The fire occurred on Olive Branch Boulevard around 3:30 p.m. Those who saw smoke rising from the electrical transformer on the boulevard reported the situation to the 112 emergency call center. Upon notification, police, fire brigade and precautionary medical teams were dispatched to the area. Police took safety precautions around the transformer while fire crews responded to the blaze. As a result of the intervention of about half an hour, the fire in the transformer was extinguished and the transformer became unusable. Police have launched an investigation into the fire at the transformer.
